The game has visual and written hints to find secrets you missed though.
I've heard some people say the game is "linear" which I don't really agree with.
That being said, I know A LOT of people ( let's players, etc ) would love a map so idk.
Yes, there might be visual/written cues, but when I return to one of the earlier areas after getting the necessary tools to reach secrets, I have totally forgotten about the layout of said area.
It would be such a huge quality of life upgrade.
And as you say, the game can be enjoyed without a map. However, it would just be such a nice thing to have and I was surprised to find out the game didn't have one.
Otherwise loving this game. Hope DLCs are coming since the game length is short.
