Update on this one - I can get audio in the game if I go to Spotify to play something before starting the game, even for a second. Starting the game right after booting up or even right after another game results in no audio.
For some reason it wants Spotify to clear the pipes first, or something.

Jesus, i have the M-Audio 8x4M and your fix with Spotify ...fix it too.

Multiple crashes today for some reason, even after reboot. Game is up to date - any idea how to find an error # or code?

I have quite an annoying issue. I'm currently stuck at 3/4 magic shards. I've visited all 8 shrines about 3 times to check that it's been visited (pink eyes) and that there is no prompt… but nothing. This is an issue since I'm at my second playthrough, attempting to beat the game using only the umbrella while depending heavily on the bomb (x3 would help more than x2 + arrow/flame). I've already beaten the game once with 100% completion and had never had this issue before.

Got stuck on a black screen when transitioning to a different room at the moment a cutscene was supposed to trigger.
I can probably fix this by restarting the game but just in case made a copy of the config/player.log/SAVE, also have a video of it.

EDIT: Cutscene still played after restarting game and re-entering the area and could continue as normal.

I killed avarice in the swamp, picked up the item and after that my character bugged, I could still move but the character froze. English is not my first language, so sorry if this isn't clear. I have a video of it that shows the bug.

I just encountered a strange bug. I am on PC, Windows 10, and had to switch out of Steam to go view an email, so I pressed ESC key. Game was in background on pause, and I had just died at the Urn Witch fight. Left character standing at the Urn Witch Lab gate. After having game on pause for approx 45 mins, I came back to the game and tried to walk but character was frozen (music was playing). Cut-scene started playing as if I had beaten the Urn Witch. I am using a Nintendo Pro Controller. So, yeah, apparently I beat the Urn Witch by checking my emails.

So I picked up the stick in the mushroom dungeon and then I got attacked by the wizard during the animation and the item fell through the floor before it could get into my inventory.

Just encountered a weird bug in castle Lockstone. The room with ice crystals at the base of a tall ladder. I tried to do a ground slam on them when I jumped off the edge and the character froze on top of one of the ice crystals. I could rotate the sprite, but could not perform any action and had to save and exit.

I cannot finish the game. After I kill the last boss, I enter the cutscene where Death sends the final boss' soul into his door, and then the credits scene kicks in. Unfortunately, the game always get stuck at a scene with Pothead and the crow on what looks like the gardens around the Ceramic Mansion. The Gardens music starts to play, and no input is recognized, neither keyboard, nor mouse, nor controller. The only thing I can do is ALT+F4. When I start the game again, I'm still at the final battle.

Please, tell me there's a workaround! I don't want to fight this boss again. I love the exploration, and the battle is kinda fun, but I have such a distate for the bosses in this game... I'd hate to have to kill it again. Unless I'm sure I won't fall into that bug again, I think I'm putting this game on hold. Hope someone can help me on this one!

After defeating the Witch, I can't progress in the game. I went back to Steadhone, and all he talks about is his friend dying. Hes not giving me the answers to where I go next >:((((
