Any tips on Umbrella run? (for quick and easy run)
I'm about to begin the Umbrella run I want to make it as fast and easy as possible. I've thought of making it full magic and use the umbrella to replenish the charges, take all the shrines on my way and thats it.
Anything else I could make to make it easier?

That's pretty much what I did. The first few bosses may feel pretty hard if you keep trying to melee (since it feels faster than using bow). Just keep at it. I added a few ranks in speed and melee (for reach), but prioritized magic damage.

I'd recommend getting the power in each section, then immediately backtracking to the next area for the next ability, etc. It makes getting all collectibles easier since you can thoroughly get everything the (mostly) first time without having to backtrack too much. It also sequence breaks the story a bit, as people in area 3 refer to you beating the first two bosses. Kinda funny that.

Oh, and once you have the power, get the upgrade for them as well. The hookshot upgrade can be ignored mostly, but the bow upgrade is fantastic for damage efficiency per cast. I found the fire spell underwhelming compared to (upgraded) bow, but the ability to hit multiple opponents is good against those sections where 4 or more guys are right behind you. Such as the slimes in witch's basement.

Yeah I did a magic run in about 4-4.5 hours. You'll have fully upgraded magic stat by the 2nd boss. I'd get the upgraded fire spell asap since it lets you use mana more efficiently. It shouldn't be too bad since you probably already completed a normal run.
