Green crystal duplication

I discovered a bug that lets you duplicate crystals (more specifically green crystals) on PC, and since I haven't found anyone talking about it, I thought it would be fun to share it.
The way it works is you first have to mine a crystal, and ensure it will fall nearby another crystal you did not touch yet. Then you can start mining the other crystal, and while mining it, you have the option to collect the first crystal. The action of collecting it will not produce any apparent result, but it will add a crystal to your home. You can click as much as you want.
I've been able to generate more than 40 green crystals that way, but if you apply yourself, you might end up with hundreds or even thousands of them.
