Funny, I had the foresight to decline the glass, but not when I chose light smelly fire in my house. I should have seen the fart gas coming a mile away.
I had all four mattocks before trying to break the glass. First two crumbled, but the game doesn't let me try again with the remaining mattocks as if it thinks I've got no more or only one left. The Shade says '... it's a matter of time etc...' Is this how it's meant to be and do I need to something else before I can use another mattock?
If the Shade says it's only a matter of time, the glass has already been broken and you should see the hole in the glass soon.
Thank you, it has now happened. I'd actually hoped it was what was going to happen, but it was not happening fast enough and I needed to go to bed. It seems some of the action>wait>result sequences take longer waits than others. :)
