[SPOILER] All Singing Crystals
This is very much a spoiler, and I haven't been able to find any other posts on here about it, so I'm guessing not many people have done this. So read at your own risk, I guess.

Has anyone else gotten all the singing crystals and layered them on top of each other on the wall in Shade's home to open the door that ends the game? And did you do it? I'm curious to know what happens, because I decided ahead of time I wanted to finish the game by fulfilling the original mission objective, i.e. waking the king after 400 days, and I refuse to do it any other way. But I'm still reeeeeally curious to know what happens if you end the longing early.

After Shades birthday I had all three singing crystals together and by chance I placed them all exactly on top of each other (I just wanted to decorate). The following spoiler explains what happened:
The crystals melted into a kind of white sphere that was also humming to itself. You can move this sphere back and forth in the cave and place it somewhere. If Shade stands in front of it, he can enter it like a door, only then the game ends (unfortunately). Shade rides on a stork in the credits and wears a crown. (I didn't memorize the text, but I think he decided that from now on he would rather be king himself).
(To be honest, I reloaded the game afterwards, though, because I prefer to experience the original ending, and now wait a few more days until I wake up the king).

I searched guides and it says you need to wait under the waterfall for a green crystal to appear and I have waited over 24 hrs for it and nothing has appeared.

I am also sure I won't get the 'never ending notebook' achievement either because I edited the file while I was in game, then edited when out of game, then deleted all content, then added some content, lol if anyone wants to help me with that one. :)

for the green crystal you will have to wait under the water when the game time is at exactly 35 days left. If u missed it you can get the lapis lazuli there to make a blue fire to rewind the time.

I'm not sure if the combination of things you did might have ruined the notebook achievement or not, but just in case, try closing the game, adding at least 3 pages' worth of content to the notebook, then opening the game and getting Shade to read the first 3 pages. If it still doesn't work it might be bugged.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
