Well, I just managed to get the 5th ending of the game and here I'll explain how to do it (with a lot of "end-game" spoilers).

So, to get this ending you'll have to find the 3 big crystals around the caves.

The pink crystal is in the secret tower, which can be found by going up to the right when you hear a different sound while walking in the darkness or by lighting up a sulfur fire after completing the angst puzzle, if you let the Shade walk he'll eventually get to the tower.

The green one rises from the waterfall during Shade's birthday and goes to the uppermost hole, but if you stay under it you can pick it up and it'll go to Shade's room ( here's a video showing that). If you miss it, you can just use the lapis found there to go back in time (to rewind time faster you can flip pages or play the 1-2-3-4 combo in the instrument).

The last one was added in the content update and is the most complex one to find. First, you have to get the key in the secret tower, the stairs to it are broken, but there's a stork nest close to it and when the stork sits on it the key will fall. With the key, if you go to the map (the one that zooms out) you'll see door markings in some of the walls of the cave, with one of them being a real door. This door only appears after midnight for 30 minutes, but changes place everyday (the map shows where its gonna go next). Inside it, you'll find the brown crystal but will be stuck for the next 24 hours.

With all the crystals in your room, you can put them on top of each other and get the 5th ending.

Aqui eu vou explicar como pegar o quinto final do jogo, o qual foi adicionado na última atualização (com vários spoilers).

Para conseguir esse final é necessário coletar os 3 cristais grandes escondidos nas cavernas.

O cristal rosa está na torre secreta, que você encontra: indo para cima e pra direita quando tiver um barulho de terra enquanto você caminha na escuridão, ou acendendo um fogo de enxofre na casa depois de completar o puzzle dos olhos e deixando o sombrinha andar, uma hora ele chega na torre.

O cristal verde normalmente sai do lago da cachoeira quando o aniversário do sombrinha chega e vai para o buraco de cima, mas é possível coletá-lo caso você esteja debaixo do buraco quando vira do dia 35 para o 34 ( aqui um vídeo mostrando isso). Se você perder a hora tem como usar a lapis-lazuli encontrada ali para acender um fogo azul e voltar no tempo (para acelerar o processo dá para tocar os tons 1-2-3-4 de cima pra baixo no instrumento ou virar páginas).

O cristal marrom foi adicionado na última atualização e é o mais "difícil" de encontrar. Primeiro é necessário pegar a chave na torre secreta, a escada que levaria para ela tá quebrada, mas tem um ninho de cegonha no telhado, que quando a cegonha chega (dizem que é depois de 21h no contador) a chave cai. Com ela, se você for no mapa e deixar ele dar zoom out você verá desenhos de portas pelas cavernas, com apenas um sendo uma porta verdadeira. Essa porta só aparece por 30 minutos depois da meia-noite e muda de lugar todo dia (o mapa mostra o próximo lugar que ela vai aparecer). Lá dentro você encontrará o cristal, mas ficará preso por 24 horas.


Com todos os cristais em casa, coloque-os um em cima do outro para conseguir o quinto final.

super find! but it makes me a bit sad... i think i will be "ready" with the game in a few days/weeks... and perhaps my motivation to start another run after one of the next content patches is limited....
torn between a thank you for more and more content updates and a sad feeling for the game mechanics not to be ideal for this new content

Is there a clue somewhere in the game about how to get the green crytal? What I mean is that the community has found it somehow, but is there any way to actually learn where and when to get it without asking for help or using a guide. So far, I think that's the only thing in the game that there is no way of knowing at all... or maybe I missed the clues?

Yes and no. :) There's a clue to something else in one of the drawings of a particular cave, called Secret. And you'd of course expect Shade's birthday to be important in some way. Once you have that item and know what it does, you can figure out how to get the green crystal.

The clues are in the paintings. Long, Secret and Gone. Long & gone I think is referencing the waterfalls.
Heres a hypothetical situation to how someone would figure it out;
so you go there on your birthday just cause you check every key location out on you birthday(randomly I did).
You see that the waterfalls are missing and a green crystals in the middle waterfalls place.
You think to yourself "where did that come from?"
You notice theres 4 pieces of lapis on the ground "dope! Lets go light a blue fire!"
After lighting the blue fire you notice time's going backwards.
This is where Someone^ gets a light bulb above their head "wait if I can revert time could I figure out where the Green cyrstal comes from?"
Turns out you can and you can grab it too

So, once the birthday has passed, you have to use the lapis-lazuli in the "lake-bed" to go back in time, in order to have again the waterfalls there? I'd like to unlock the birthday achievement, I'm down to 9 days left; I just see the green crystal in the middle hole

If you don't have the crystal yet, and you want to have it, then you have to reset time.
For that, you light a fire with five lapis lazuli. Time will go back very quickly if the shadow turns backwards when the blue fire is burning.

Maybe it's because of its location. You can move it just like any other decoration in the room, so try to put it somewhere more accessible to Shade and see if it works
