Simple Discussion: This game does NOT take 400 days?
Hey!

I was discussing this with some friends on Twitter and some of us have determined this game does NOT take 400 days and that tasks you do can speed up the time.

A 3rd party claims there is no way to speed up time and it's a IDLE GAME where the task completely only prove how determined you are to do said stuff in the game.

Now i can link countless videos, streams, threads and other stuff to help the case but I feel you all would be able to weight in on this and what task increase time (if it is the case) the most?

Thanks for your time.

No, there are several ways to speed up the time

Paintings

Crystals
home improvements
Have not checked music, probably a little

You probably could complete the game around 20 days if you tried very hard, for the last ending I mean.

You have to be inside your cave/home for time to speed up, and do as the person above me said.
You can also grow mushrooms in your home, eat three of them and you pass out, skipping a whole hour.
Playing instrument does skip time.
If you go outside of your home, to explore the rest of the cave, time goes in normal speed.

By playing music, you can speed up the time by 10 minutes per second. All you have to do is catch the right notes. You can watch this on my video in Steam, Nr. 15.

Is there no way to stop this from happening? I would rather it did take the full 400 days, because isn't that the point of the game, to wait? I get we're meant to be passing time by doing things, but I would personally rather it took the whole time

You'd have to be willing to either never go back to the Shade's home cave, or if you do, keep it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and miserable without adding quality-of-life to it.
It's also possible to freeze time entirely in one area.
And you can reverse time as well, except very late game.
