Neverending Notebook

I have found 'Neverending Notebook' that Shade was seeking (in the Mystery Tower). But I did not get the achievement (neither on taking, nor on reading), and the task of finding it is still present in the 'Thoughts' book!

Is it a bug, or is there something still left to do with it?

Huh, I certainly didn't find the notebook in the mystery tower, just normal books for me

Well, it is possible the notebook could be found in random places amongst other books, like in the library, then.
But what to do with it??? It seems that Shade have nothing to write with, but he does write in his usual 'Thoughts' book somehow...

I have been everywhere and achieved success. And I picked up a thousand of the king's gold COINS and dug up all the crystals. I don't think I have anything left to do.

Try to make the book neverending, by putting some text into it. You might want to close the game for that.

If the text is long enough and you can turn the page of the book in the game, it should fire.

I got it just now.
I think it requires to close the game when the shade is reading the book.

That's strange, as I have tried that several times, with many pages - but they were not formatted well in the game, and there was no achievement. The game recognized my notebook only when instead of my own words I have copied another game book :)

Is the text long enough? I copy/pasted my text until the txt file was like 10 MB just to be sure. As soon as my shade started reading the book, the achievement poped very quickly.

The achievement trigger when you turn one page, so you have to write enough text for at least 2 pages.

I'm on a mac- does anyone know what directory you can find the text file in? I've tried going through Browse Local Files, but nothing shows up. Is there some way to edit it in-game that I'm missing?
