ALSO ALSO, you can just stand in the elevator through that entire battle and shoot the tank without being damaged once (broken and poor level design I know, but it still makes your point redundant)
Like I actually think the tank should be reworked or buffed so it's not a joke, it doesn't even shoot in spite of having two huge cannons strapped to it.
And I like how in Doom 3 you used to have to make a choice between having your flash light or your gun out, it made the game a lot scarier but in this game it does feel kinda out of place.
(I also tried looking for patterns - perhaps I had to stand still for a second, so it would fire its cannon instead of something - but no such luck. It just kept ramming and ramming until I ran out of HP)
I've finished the game now, in part thanks to the people who suggested the "Sprint" toggle - which, btw, is a function I never saw mentioned anywhere and which was not needed for any other part of the game.
So great job on that, devs.
And suggesting that you need to take a certain perk to even beat a boss is not great advice, guys - perks are meant to help you adapt your playstyle, not be a requirement for completion.
And yeah, I agree - with sprint toggled, the tank boss is laughable, and I never got hit even once while fighting it. The same with the final boss, which - without sprint - was a bit of challenge, but with it? Absolute cakewalk.
Hi
Perk is not needed to kill the boss. You just have to change from "walking" to "running" using the "always run" button.
Best Regards,
Jakub
