Edit: Just tried tweaking all the font sizes in game but the same problem persists, is there maybe a way to resize the windows themselves?
More generally if you have any trouble in Windows 10 with not being able to resize the main window (may not be related to your problem here, but just in case..), then try this:
1) Open up Meridian
2) Open up any other window e.g. notepad
3) Drag Meridian window over to the side of the screen, then choose notepad for the 'other half'
4) You can now drag the boundary between the two windows across to increase size of Meridian window
