- the player the devs used might not be optimal
- you're using the game's anti-aliasing, which is FXAA and WILL blur everything on screen
- the bitrate might be too low.
If they look blurry and low-res, then it's probably FXAA, if they look blocky it's likely the bitrate.

Whoaw... Indeed.
They just put their videos in an express encoding soft and basta... That's still a thing in 2019, nice.
You should post that in the "bug" thread just in case~
Darn... Well, I hope that request will be taken into consideration, even though it's not a bug in itself :|
If it's not express encoding, they at least forced the videos to have a bitrate of 4000 kbits/s...
When I said to post there, it's only because there aren't any proper way of being shown ASAP than this one thread. And in a sense, it's a "problem" so bug or not, it needs to be fixed because that's really fugly to look at... blerg.
Don't forget that's also not the same type of codec compared to what you could find on Playstation 3/Xbox 360. So that + less bitrate, no chance to have something "proper"...
You could console yourself by thinking that the "Full Body" version will have updated videos lol
That's only true if they used the console version's files though, if they have the master files it's just their mistake. But yeah, I hope the Full Body version will have higher quality videos too.
In both cases it's their mistakes, if you think about it =]
What if we ripped the original cutscenes and audio from the PS3 disc then converted them to .wmv or whatever the PC port uses? That way we would get better quality right?
Still, it should only be a temporary solution and the porting team should try and get the best quality they can for the cutscenes (and the audio, too).
