only "chance" of us getting it is if the game "Cathrine Classic" on here sells amazing well and then it wont be for a few years so they can milk sales of the consoles etc.
It's also cheap to produce and can be used afterward to port on other platforms (Switch being the primary one, obviously). But "Full Body" was only made with the Playstation 4 as a target, for now. So even with starting as soon as right now, they'll need months before even trying to port it on PC. That said, Atlus' games are still mostly for the Japanese market first, and by extension the Playstation 4/ Switch. PC is more of a Sega Europe thing, if nothing else.
So it will depends on how much Sega wants to invest on the Atlus brand on PC from now on...
Fingers crossed that they'll do it ASAP~
Catherine wasnt even that bad from a nudity perspective.
Full Body has a cutscene with Katherine and Vincent in bed that shows more nudity than anything in Classic, and it was in the demo uncensored.
its been vita confirmed also -.-
I'd say:
1. Promote corss plattform.
2. They are not beeing sure PC version makes it intime. Or they are certain it dosnt make it intime.
3. They want to sale the same product several times - First console release, then PC release. Seen with GTA V for example. (and dont bs me rockstar is so nice, its calculated and the new console generation gave them good reasoning).
i didnt say it was confirmed for the west, i just said its been confirmed for vita.
It seems to be a trend of ps3 exclusives getting surprise PC ports these days. It depends on whether the cost of porting and PC sales outweighs the money saved on console exclusivity. Games like yakuza 0 get pc ports after sales on console start to slow down So my guess is something similar.
The game box said "Playstation Console Exclusive", which just meant that in regards to the console ecosystem, it was exclusive to Playstation.
PC, Mobile, and whatever weird and experimental platform they can think of are not excluded by that label.
Now I have no doubt that a "Full Body" version will be exclusive to PS4. That is the usual practice. But No game is exclusive forever if there is an interest of teh devs to release it in other parts also. Some games are co-developed by sony, or Sony has the exclusive rights on the title in some form. That's why Demon Souls, or Bloodborne will never see a release here.
