Don't expect everything to come here, especially titles that have never been translated to English, but we might get a healthy number of surprises.
(A combined P2 Sin & Punishment remake with the whole modern Persona suite of features would be sick, though I worry we'd actually be stuck inside of a school if that ever happens, so XXXXing sick of high schools in Japanese media. Would be cool if the S.links were based upon quests, story progression, and conversations with the various monsters.
Persona 1 and 2 never happened.
Oh wait
The SMT director said over 2 years ago that they were remastering Nocturne ♥♥♥♥♥.
Atlus hasnt acknowledged Persona 2 in over a decade.
yeah real big timer representation.
Gonna see Persona 2 remake tomorrow i bet.
Just accept that you were dead wrong.
Why is P1 and P2 so unliked? why do everyone want p3 and p5 instead of the two that started the serie? isn't it making some plot issues? I know most stories aren't related but some stuff is the same ( I got spoiled that the velvet room exist in p3/p4/p5, so also p1/p2? adding some clues to the mystery of that room? idk, just wanna know why p1/p2 are unliked )
No calendar system or social links.
They aren't unliked. Atlus just doesnt care about them.
It is just that the amount of gameplay improvements and features added going into the third title were just so substantial.
Just comparing Sin to 3: there were way fewer optional story elements (no social links), no fusion iirc, you got personas through purchasing with a card currency that dropped from monsters (the drop rate for certain cards could be increased via a dialogue system with the monsters that was rather in-depth), you had random encounters rather than opt-in ones that came w/ a rate that was much too high (issue was made worse with the maze-like levels), etc...
3 - 6 are a very different style of game.
