Using ancient bark as common wood

A great incidental use for bark could be that it can be reduced to (2, 3 or 4)common wood. Or (enhanced)common that simply has a different hue, or has lots of twists and knots, wild grain patterns. I'd love to see shingles or siding made from it. Or maybe a window frame/door frame. Gnarly wood torches. Ornate chests. Campfires that can withstand drizzle. Possibly using it in conjunction with the raft creates a slightly altered model. Possibly even with some RNG components, as to hue or sail type, knots, grains. Or the cart, it could also have some unique things associated with it due to the incorporation of Ancient Bark. Or also allow it to be used in the kiln for coal.
