Deep North Concepts Part 8 - Weapons Finished and Misc.
I came up with these ideas not long after Ashlands dropped. This isn't a prediction, but just a collection of ideas.
Some of these are now obsolete or would need to be changed to fit better with other content already in the game.
Also, I checked, and lingonberries and barley can grow in snow.
Lastly, I wouldn't mind having black powder in this game since we already have explosives (explosive payloads from proustite powder).

Note that this was formatted in notepad, so it might not look great here.
Posted in 8 parts (due to limit on post length).

Crafting stations have a search box where you can type to filter items.
Chest inventory can be sorted by stack size or item name.
Tamed Lox, Asksvin, and Polar Bear attacks can be controlled (not being able to control attack and being dismounted on attack seem like bad design).
- Left-click for bite/bite/bite (grounded)/ice barrage (flying)
- Middle click for slam/lunge/slash (grounded)/ice breath (flying).
Boar, Lox, Asksvin, and Dragon can be ordered to follow just like Wolf.
Noticeably increased damage on two-handed swords (should have higher DpS than regular sword, especially since they drain Stamina and aren't great for blocking).
Ice Giants (including the boss and mini-bosses) take +30% damage from Dyrnwyn (so it still has high value even though there are stronger fire swords).
Dyrnwyn can immolate just like Topaz weapons.
Bloodstone weapons additionally heal 10% of the damage they deal.
Make Dundr a little more accurate (at least able to consistently hit a mid-sized target 3 meters away).
Give sledge hammers a 3-hit combo and change the ground slam to a special attack.
Give battle axes a better (and faster) attack animation.
Artisan Table can be used to dye/paint armor.
- Use the armor piece and banner-coloring materials to color it.
- Alchemy Engine deconstructs these pieces the same as it does elemental weapons.
Elemental fist weapons have a new special attack in an AoE ground slam.
