Better way to get copper/tin in the late game
I don't wanna haul more of it from the black forest...

If you have a Black Forest that helps but you actually have to have a shoreline in there too and the willingness to spend time looking for stuff and hauling back and forth heavy materials. My suggestion is to have chests with copper and tin hidden underground in plains.
+1 is there a problem if they made copper and tin available in all biomes except meadows?

I'm not sure how I need to "Define the late game". I literally just mean the later parts of the game. I don't understand why you put a "facepalm"?

I'd like to build braziers, sconces, cauldrons, etc without wasting hours of my own rather busy schedule. Plus, I'd like to update the post to include iron for the padded armor. My current suggestion would be hiding them (probably raw ores) in chests in later biomes, therefore giving the wishbone more use outside the mountains.
That is a briliant idea. The devs wouldn't even need to put the ores in chests. since the wishbone already tracks sub surface Silver viens I don't think it would hard to also have it also track sub surface Iron, Copper, and Tin viens. Player wouldn't know what type of ore until the dug down to it. And considering the game already has the mechanics of mining Silver ore it probably wouldn't be that hard to add Tin, Copper and Iron to the game in a similar fasion.
Yeah, sounds good to me

I own you an answer. I perhaps mixed late game and end game, because for me Valheim is a never ending game (well until the whole world is explored, built, conquered). You rather mean afyer reaching Xth biome, and it looks like Mountains.

My seed is apprently more rich than yours. I can have a small island with a dozen of tin deposits, that is a guaranteed 3 cauldrons in a couple of mining days.

Perhaps, if I become fed up with mining and smelting, I would still equip one base per middle-sized island, and then have a set of wandering ingots for a single temporary exploration/exploitation base.

Mm yeah it really depends on where in the world I am. Some islands are great but others are basically devoid of anything.
