Cape variety
Hello. I know it's not a big deal, but something for a small discussion/consideration if you please.

I think capes are made kind of wrong in this game. First of all, no matter the cape, they all have same armor rate, which I think is... strange... Come one. Lox pelt should be harder to penetrate then some rugs, no? But it's not my biggest complaint.

After you craft the Feather Cape, it effectively eliminates all need in any other kind of cape as it ALSO provides warmth enough for a mountain. So, what's the point? Wouldn't it be better if different capes provide different bonuses? Feather cape for jumping around, wolf pelt for mountains... maybe some other pelt for swamp which keeps you from getting wet? That would also be neat and you would have a reason to change your capes time to time according to needs.

What do you think?

interesting idea.
but i think it would be to much of a hasle to constantly switch mantles. its anoing enough with the mistland lantern and the more carry belt.
If you want the sneak bonus you would have to have the complete troll set including its cape. When in biomes where I don't have to fear dropping to my death I actually prefer the look of the wolf cape. In all other conditions I will use the feather cape.
You know, the wolf cape would reach legendary levels of awesome if they just got rid of the head. The thought of having wolf teeth so near my neck doesn't sit well with me. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to wear a cape with a massive wolf's head attached? What's the master plan here? Are you attempting to blend in as a wolf to upgrade your dating game with them? 🐺💘

I see your point regarding the hassle of switching stuff so often. But I'd still prefer the discomfort of switching stuff according to biome but have more variety... I don't know, matter of taste I guess.

Yeah, I know about sneak bonus. That was a good idea. And that's why I think there must be other varieties too. For not just cosmetic purposes
