A way to make wood water resistant
The comment from castle building video describes everything: "Only thing i ever dislike about your builds, is that there are often wood without cover, so they're taking water damage looks bad when it rains :/ Wish they would add a possibility to use oil or some shiz on wood, so they become resistant to water" or maybe add some new "hq wood foundations/walls"

I want this too, but I actually think the weathered and damaged wood effects are useful and can be attractive in the right places. Stone with 75% damage can be useful too.

yeah i still love the idea
seen that kind of thread appear here and there

so now that we have resin/tar
we could craft a pot of resin/tar wood protective material to cover selected wooden parts and make them water resistant (possibilty for flat roofs and balconys included)

"epic" i would like to have +1000
