There’s only one armor set in the entire game that doesn’t slow you down, and that’s the fenris armor. The eitr set has the exact same slowdown as the troll and root set, so I’m a bit confused why you’re considering those 2 sets as light armor, but not the eitr set.
Ik fenris increases movement speed. I could have sworn troll had a slight penalty, but I looked and it doesn’t. Maybe it changed from when the game first came out? Root definitely does though so it shouldn’t be clumped in with the others in this case.
But generally I either want a full set of damage soaking armour, or the +9% fenris speed advantage for grindy chores. Oh, also fenris armour helps with moving overly heavy carts, it can make the difference between making it up a slight incline vs not.
