Feeding trough for animals
I honestly think this is the single most helpful semi-cosmetic item for animal breeding that we need right now. It would be so helpful to have a trough that you just place food into and boars/wolfs would feed off of it. Right now whenever I go to check on my animals I have to tip-toe around the pen because I don't want to accidentally pick up food that is on the ground. Is there anyone else who thinks the same?

There is a hotkey to disable auto pickup. I mostly think the "throw food onto the ground" feels ugly. Mistlands is the first time I used taming, since you actually get unique loot from it now, but having to throw food onto the ground stills looks weird after a few hours of play.

Probably one of the most-asked, as well as most-useful, items in the game. :steamhappy:
(and yes, I know there is a Mod for that too ;-))

Even though there is a hotkey to turn off auto pickup, items thrown on the ground will despawn after awhile if not near a workbench from what I have read. Some kind of feeding station would prevent accidental pickup, prevent the food from despawning, and should have the effect of attracting the animals from a slightly larger radius to go to the feeder to eat.
