You misunderstand and are becoming demeaning. BYE.
Seriously. And the computer-sciencey messages should translated into the game's terms, e.g. "In transit…" instead of "Loading…" and something like a still picture of Yggdrasil to suggest transit between worlds. (Then inter-world portals can use the same screen.)
Also "The ground is not level." instead of "Invalid placement.*"
This sort of thing is for the polish phase, but they could create inter-world portals any time and we could just scrunch-up our eyes during the "Loading…" and arrival screen. (The splash-title should be moved to where the game starts to load. When we arrive our destination, we want to be in the game.)
Again, this is all polish.
*I think we may never escape the era of 64k computers.
That said the belt does help you pull the cart: you can unload part of the ore into your own backpack which ever so slightly boosts the cart's speed. If your pull strength was based on how much of your weight capacity is left over that'd be pretty cool too though.
The road building discourages itself and by proxy cart use
+1 to speedy paths, I hope they will add it in the future or something similar
