Troll Hide

Please, for the love of Odin, there needs to be more to do with this.

Troll Curtains
Troll Rugs
Troll Couch
Troll Sails
Troll Tires

Maybe the Troll Hide could be used to further upgrade weapons/gear, ANYTHING!
Maybe make it sellable to Haldor, who knows.

I have so much Troll Hide and there's nothing to do with it.

Yes, I could toss it into the Sea - But this is becoming a nuisance because I end up with so much. You see the problem is, every time I go out I kill anywhere from 1-6Trolls. Heck the other (in-game) night I killed 4 Trolls just delivering goods to my Ship from my Base.

i agree that more uses for Troll hide would be nice at least IG gave us the Obliterator to deal with all the extra now useless stuff we end up with.

I was hoping troll hide would be an ingredient (sails) in the next class ship, along whichever new materiels come from the mistlands.

Or maybe just reduce the drop rate ? ^^

I know it's less sexy as a solution but ...

It's like trophies, resin, bones and Greydwarf eye; These are clearly trash loots.
The drop rate is too high.

Well the same goes for many items in the game... you need a lot of it at the start then it suddenly becomes trash.

I agree troll hide could have some fun late game applications. I also have a ton of the stuff.
Also another idea, maybe materials should rot and/or disappear after sometime. Seems a little crazy I have deer stew from day 14 now at day 375 that still doesnt make me vomit.

Resins are burned daily in torches, so their abundance has merit.
However Trolls are meant to be intimidating mini-bosses that give a much higher reward than other creatures, like the Abomination, which is why they drop Gold in addition to Skin and Trophies.

They're not a normal mob like Greydwarves or Fulings (in their natural habitat).

I also agree that Ancient Bones, Bones, and Trophies all need more uses. It was very disappointing to have collected nearly a Chestful of Ancient Bones hoping to later build some wonderful Bone Furniture or Bone Walls only for there to be nothing.

you could also make a chest full of backup max troll armor. its better than nothing when doing a corpse run

Pretty much any materiel we overflow with could have a simple furniture item added and poof, we'de have a use for it

A troll sail would surely not move the ship at all...or make it sail backwards.

I have three max level Troll Tier Armor sets meant just for this. I've given away 4 to friends. My Coffers have over 200 Troll Hide.

I'm fine with Trolls Spawning, but I encounter so many daily that I'm literally flooded with Troll Hide and nothing to do with them.
