I'm with the OP that it would be awesome to be able to dig tunnels and such, but I've got enough programming background to spot when a game just isn't capable of doing something without a complete rewrite, and Valheim is one of those when it comes to digging tunnels.

If you like snap grides you migh also like a farming grid mod that always plants seeds far enough apart and in a neat grid. I find it very useful.
