I can't be bothered to waste minutes trying to get every last bit of these piles anymore.
It's just not worth it especially since missing the actual pile and hitting rocks instead wears down the pickaxe (I'm not against this as it's only logical, I'm just pointing it out).
so i suggest adjusting the piles stuck in the jagged walls so the player may obtain it all
+1
I did say it was not game breaking or urgent, right? But seeing as it's still early access, I'm bringing it up so that maybe they could still find time before full launch to improve it somehow for current and future players and minimize frustration. I also offered suggestions on how to go about it.
depends if more is available nearby sure some dont mine the small bits
Bites gamers right in their map completion glands.
Spent a good five minutes maneuvering in the niche, seeking different angles of attack. Finally managed to hit an break both little bits of scrap pile. My reward for clearing out those last two little bits? No scrap iron, no leather scraps, no withered bone, nothing, zero, zip, nada.
Is it worth getting wrapped around the axle over a few exceedingly difficult or impossible to reach bits of scrap pile? I don't think so.
This! Although rng is rng. Sometimes there is iron to be had, but it can also be other junk or a whole lot of nada.
