I think we're in the same picture. Yes it makes sense and that's what I want to happen with the cauldron. It's just a thought though 😁kinda silly when you need a forge each time you want to put a pot over the fire.
everytime i need to relocate the pot i have a bit of a strange feeling when i need to demolish the pot - get a forge - rebuild the pot on the new location
often thinking.... its just a pot, grab dat thing and put it there would make more sense
so i +1 this
would be more fluid gameplay wise
if one can relocate the pot without the need to place a forge nearby
like. player uses the hammer on the pot to "fold it up" or stash it away
this would prevent the player from taking that pot away by missklicking
Yes! Seems you also get it. I also do have that same "strange feeling" whenever I want to casually relocate a cooking cauldron. Being able to put it down with just a hammer without a forge would not only be convenient, but also feel natural.. 😁👌🏻
I hope out tiny voices get heard. Who knows if the devs would like this idea too.
though i have a feeling that the whole nomadic playstyle kinda dies out after reaching iron tier. too many things to do which ties you to 1 place. smelting ores. raising flax and etc.
I agree with the nomadic playstyle dying out in the late game, but prior to that I think it's much more satisfying to be able to carry around a cauldron instead of 10 tin and 6 copper during your expeditions. (yeah this is just an opinion)
For me, a portable cauldron which you can put down with a hammer fits the early game more than requiring a forge each time you want to put it down a fire. But again, it's just my opinion. There could be some problems which I've overlooked 🤔
