Dyes and Paints

I tried skimming through all the previous discussions to make sure this wasn't a topic already brought up, but I didn't see anything. If I missed it though, forgive me!

A suggestion from my playgroup was to have dye colors for like painting the color of your boat, the sails, or the outside of house, or even dying clothing. It would make sense that structures might have a distressed painted look because viking age. It's not going to look perfect!

Even if it's only the available berry colors or something or a combinations.
Blueberries = Blue or Navy
Raspberries = Red or Wine Color
Cloudberries = White or Yellowish
Obsidian = Black (I know not a berry.)
Guck = Green (I know not a berry.)

Just a suggestion. Feel free to bump the discussion for notice!

I'm a fan of this idea! Would be great to have some color to differentiate items, even if it's something simple like the shield variations.

had some ideas for dyes

at first there could be a new tool mortar and pestle
or an upgrade for the workbench

for dye color - and objects required

red - raspberry or bloodsack
green - dandelion or evil seeds
blue - blueberry or thisle
yellow - dandelion or resin
white - bones or stone
black - coal or tar
grey - bones or stone + coal or tar
bronze fishscale look - bronze ingot
iron fishsclae look - iron ingot

Would love this, especially to be able to dye the Troll Leather armor green for a ranger-esque look.
