Increase inventory or add armor slots
At the moment we have 8 utility slots and 24 backpack slots. It seems perfectly fine at the beginning of the game, but in the late game inventory management starting to be a pain in the ass. Especially during the exploration expeditions.

For now my utility slots are filled with:
1. Iron axe for hardwood cutting
2. Bow
3. Frostner as a main weapon
4. Shield
5. Pickaxe (in case I need stones quickly or to get ores)
6. Second axe but flint - for regular wood
7. Health potions
8. Hammer - for building outposts or small temporary camps

Out of 24 inv. slots 14-15 filled with:
5 armor slots - helmet, cape, armor, pants and Meginjord
1 slot for Dvergler circlet - just a light source in the night
1-2 slots for arrows - mainly wood and sometimes an additional type of arrows
3 slots for food - that is a mandatory after update
1 slot for some amount (20+) of wood in case I need builds or campfire
3 slots for the portal components
and this can be even more with poison or stamina potions. Often I am carrying a hoe too.

Of course, it's possible to save some slots - not take second axe, leave a food on a base, don't take light source. But it's not a game where you can go in the wild unprepared.

Which leave for us only 9-10 slots for the actual loot. So a player needs often leave some things on a ground or often teleport to the base. Booooooring. Micromanagement of that type just sucks.

Ways to solve the problem:

1. Add an additional craftable bag for another 8 slots - for example 4 leather, 4 deer rug, 4 bronze nails, 2 wolf fangs.

2. Add 5 armor and 3 potion/food slots from the start.

I totally agree. There are times when I have to search my inventory for one Greydwarf eye to drop, just to pick up another full stack of metal or stone. Having a weight capacity is restrictive, and I would be happy if it went up, but it makes sense and gives us meaningful choices on what to gather or bring. Having a number of items limit, regardless of size or weight, makes no sense at all. I just had a half mile run to go get some copper that led me through 3 areas. I encountered every possible enemy and got every possible drop from them. With my gear and food that meant I had to drop everything I picked up on the way just to get some of what I came for. There should be at least 1 or 2 more rows of inventory IMHO even if the weight limit stays the same or goes down.

Would be neat to find single square inventory upgrades in treasure chests. More reasons to adventure are always very good :)

Yeah I'm all for armour slots and potion slots/bag.

Armour cause you wear it don't carry it, does that make sense?

Potions are all same bottle size, max stack is 10, if I carry 2 of one potion and 2 of another why should they waste an extra slot. I think a bag would be best which is maybe 6 slots but max capacity of each stack is halved and bag takes up one slot.

Also why not a food bag/lunchbox, with same concept 6 slots halved stack bag takes one slot.

a bag or backpack to craft would be awesome to give more inv room

boars and deer now dropping different types of meat and other items
doing long runs through several areas makes inventory space that much more valuable

After H&H added more items, it would be nice, if inventory could have more slots.

I think the game is fine as is, but if they do add more items at a later date, they're likely going to add a rucksack or something similar, you can always carry around a cart, but they're clunky in terms of going up and down hills.

Special Slots for our Armor was realy nice. Like in other RPG Games. if you open your Inventory you see on the left your Inventory and on the right a Picture from our Char with Slots for Armor and Shield.
Weapons can still be in the Quick Slots thats ok for me but the Armor takes allways Inventory Slots and this is not so good.

100% agree for all reasons given.

Another advantage of having armor slots would be if they always auto filled when you clikc on your tombstone while trying to recover you things. Doesnt' need to equipe them, just pick them up so you can do a "dash and grab" to get your gear before reequiping everything later, like the belt, to go back and get the rest of your stuff. I hate getting killed trying to get my stuff when I can't just grab everything due to the weight limit or item count preventing a dash and grab. I've learned to keep a spare belt on hand now but it still sucks if having the second belt keeps me from grabbing everything because my inventory was already full when I died.

I would use different mats but other than that I agree..... I would make at least 2 tiers:
1. Deer Hide + Troll hide + Leather scraps: 4 slots
2. Wolf pelt + Lox pelt + Linen thread: 8 slots
Haven't thought about the amount of each materials it should require though.
