When you first see this option, you think how convenient it is for late joining players and how it will be easier for them to play without higher tier raids. But it turns out to be very tricky. Now you need to take care on what you pick up and who you kill instead the old fashioned approach on which bosses you kill.
And I am fine with it. We are still learning how it works. Would be a lot easier if we got better information in patch notes. Maybe developers purposely left out this information to let us learn the hard way.
I wouldn’t say it was a bug. I remember devs wrote in their discord that new triggers will involve bosses killed, powers used and items obtained. They just didn’t specify all the triggers, but based on our experience until now I can say there are a lot more triggers now with this option enabled.
So I think this one is on us. We wanted to build with stone and have fully upgraded troll armors before we tackle the first boss.
This is how developers are punishing us for trying to skip the game progression design.
