How do I fix camera spinning?

I wanted to try out using a controller for this game, as I've played with M+K up until now and realized that there is a bug with some controllers where the camera just keeps spinning. I would really like to try the game out using a controller but I can't find a solution for this camera spinning bug.

Anyone who knows and can direct me towards a solution?

Do you have any other controllers connected to the PC, like a steering wheel or something similar? If so, they could interfere with your gamepad. Disconnecting them should help.

I don't, I am using a laptop with nothing connected to it except for power. Controller is connected via bluetooth as well. Googling this issue it seems to be the case for a lot of people, but not everyone. All I can find as a solution is "Disable gamepad and the spinning will stop" but then I can't use the controller... Which is of course what I want to do :)
