The wiki has a run down of the console commands and the ids for the console to spawn the items.
It almost sounds like the Nidhog simply has no model to display if dropped from your inventory. Kind of a common developer oversight in games when it comes to items created via inventory and skills.
So does that mean the poison Nidhogg disappeared because it didn't have an ID?
I don't know if it's intentional that it doesn't have an ID or if it's a developer mistake (bug).
Anyway, it seems I can't get back what's gone. Jade is a valuable resource...
I wish I could go back to a specific date in the game!
I only pressed the 3 key to equip Nidhogg to destroy the catapult with Nidhogg.
The developers should have made it so that catapults can't throw anything but bullets.
First non stackable item thrown via catapult will disappear. You can also dabble into restring previous save though the in-game manage saves menu to restore previous version of your character save (related to character inventory).
I didn't know this was a known bug.
I've played this game for over 500 hours and didn't know I could restore previous save data.
Thanks to that I was able to go back and resume playing before I lost Nidhogg.
Thanks for letting me know.
I hope this bug is fixed soon.
save game files are really powerful.
if you restore the world, all the chests and such are as they were, so if you say took out 3 stacks of iron, then restored, you can take out the 3 stacks of iron again.
character files are like that with your inventory, so you can store all your items in a chest, restore your character, and you have all your stuff and you have a copy of it all in the chest too. Similarly, if you die, you can restore character with no skill loss and all your stuff, and if you find the body, get duplicates back.
Basically save files open up a lot of item duplication and death avoidance cheats, if you care to use them. I ... may have a world where the save file is read only, with chests full of iron and rocks.
How did you find the Catapult bug on the known bugs page?
Did you scroll through the page looking for the bug?
The page is translatable, but not searchable. I can't export the page to PDF either.
