I also tried to run it first and it didn't start
Works for me with:
I use proton 7.0.5 on Steam Play
Checked integrity of the game and I don't use OpenGL*
I also use VSync because I haven't tried any other graphic drivers than what was setup automatically, for now. It solved the lagging.
Did not set any startup commands
Game still hang on "not responding" on world loading and at exit but that's not bothering.
I hope this will help.
I'm running Fedora 37 with Ryzen 7 1700X and AMD RX580 8GB
I'm running BepInEx fine, and I installed it outside of Steam, in a custom folder I named 'unity', so command line parameter is:
https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/denikson/BepInExPack_Valheim/
Perhaps that Player.log in ~/.config/unity3D/IronGate/Valheim/ could also help?
Sorry for mislead post.
I'm not using BepInEx, but just Steam play Proton 7.0.5 in native Steam client.
I mentioned file integrity because my Steamapps files are installed from Windows Steam so that's why verifying files.
VSync just seemed to fix that constant lagging with installed graphic driver.
Glad to hear that the issue was fixed tho.
