We took time off work to play with friends, but we can't connect because of this issue. Who will pay for our loss?

This update to improve their console profits broke the game and all the mods (again), come back in a few months when / if the modders who make the game playable decide to update the mods (again)
My partner and I are the same I can't connect to there server since the update, really hope it is patched soon we just made the sealbreaker
Same issue, I can't join on my dedicated server. I enter the password and all i get is a black screen. No mods.

Connectivity issues and errors launching the game are almost always the result of a modded installation on the server's and/or the connecting client's side; otherwise, it's likely a version mismatch. Make absolutely certain that any mods, no matter how seemingly minor, are completely removed from your installation folders.

If your dedicated server is being hosted by a third-party site, make certain that the server version is updated to today's patch version.

Unfortunately for me, removing -crossplay from the dedicated server just made it no longer connectable at all. It was just a forever loading black screen before.

From the logs on my server it seems it is related to the server and client not being on the same version.

My server is now on 0.220.3 and my client 0.219.x (cant remember the last number). I think it will start working as soon as the valheim clint receives the update.
