ashlands sea serpent

every time i meet the ashlands sea serpent it makes my game lag out and break. what is the issue?

Yo, my game did the exact same thing, MY boat sunk, and my character too are stuck at the bottom, unable to move..

Yes we have some mods. Any idea on how to fix this?

Basically we can play the game, but the moment an ashlands sea serpent engages with us it just completely stops everything and at one point has even taken me for a ride in the ocean. Other then that zero issues with the game it is literally as soon as the ashlands sea serpent arrives.

I have heard that the mod that makes things float has the opposite effect in Ashlands. If you have that one that would be a good place to start.

Yep, my experience exactly. Was just returning from mistlands with some loot and i thought to check the new biome from afar, boneclaw gave me a good scare and i along with the ship and everything else sunk down, along with boneclaw and the fish

i saw some people mentioned it had to do with mods conflicting and someone even said it was the FloatingItems mod, once i disabled that mod it worked just fine for me, i even had one of those bone serpents chasing me and i didnt fall through the world again.
