Are you sure this always works? I assume VH won't always be able to save the world before you do a hard shut down on the XBOX (eg. with larger worlds).
It's just how save-states and files work.
Killing VH via a taskmanager not required (at least not yet - worked for Minecraft until it got fixed in that regard).
Probably even from inside the game via the versioning/restore functionality.
I've never (pretty much) played on any platform that didn't allow you to do stuff like that and I'm damn sure I never want to.
What if you finally get that precious ore home and craft yourself that long anticipated weapon in the middle of the night and then switch the xbox off without saving: gone the next day.
I think it's a serious issue.
If you don't save you haven't saved anything...
And constantly streaming every change into a save file isn't feasible/practical (unless you invest a lot more $€).
Buy a UPS, connect your XBOX to it and only shut it down normally.
This isn't a glitch but expected behavior in my opinion.
1) Save constantly, as in CONSTANTLY, EVERY CHANGE OF ANYTHING (but try to imagine the lag this implies)
2) Save characters and worlds in the same file. Which makes all sorts of other side effects, like no being able to use a character on more worlds.
