Valheim kills my internet connection

Hi everyone. The latest update might have broken something. Everytime I open Valheim, my internet connection goes to almost 0. And it happens every single time. When I close the game, network comes back, fast as always. Any idea?

I play on a MSI laptop

I stumbled across this advice:
"Sync issues are also caused by other software interfering with the game. A common culprit is the Killer Network software, which is often bundled with network drivers on MSI laptops. If you’re using it, your best bet would be to uninstall it – just be careful not to delete the network drivers along with it. There’s a special uninstaller you can get from their website if you’re not sure what exactly to remove."

I got the same problem. It even drops the connection in the whole household.

After some searching i might have found a solution so far it worked for me.

Go to steam settings.
Then select In-Game
There you will see Server Browser Pings / Minute
Turn that to anything lower then 1500.

That might fix your issue

Tried different ping options and didn't work any of them, unfortunately

I hope it helps.

That package in of software in particular has caused me trouble in most games. Best to just remove that, imo, and use only drivers for the LAN as indicated above.
