Use key (E) has stopped working

Can't use anything any more. Even Hunin the raven doesn't bring up the use option.

Quit and restart and remapping the key doesn't work.

Obvious follow up question: Is it just Valheim or for all programs/games?

If the latter, it's very likely you broke your keyboard.

Check and close other apps while playing. I just had a strange one where my audio app window on the desktop prevented me from building anything at a workstation.

Did you have a controller plugged in? Close and exit Steam using Steam top left corner or the bootloader at the clock bottom right corner r/click exit.
Disconnect any controllers .
Unplug your keyboard and put into another USB slot.
Oh is it wireless?

Had this problem a couple times on a dedicated sever playing with friends, when a friend was afk for an extended period of time. Friend had to be kicked or log out to resolve.

charmap, copypaste, other computer/device. :-)

Nope - Wasn't because the hammer was in hand. It stopped allowing interactions too (for example, if you walked up to the raven, it would't pop up the E-to intact glyph). Had to quit the game and restart it. All good after that.

By restart - I mean, create a new world and start the game from scratch

Nope, raw, out of the box. I think it was when I ignored one of the ravens (because I was being attacked)
