Game Crashing

I have played over 1000 hours of this game, and continue to enjoy it-but starting yesterday, several hours into the Bog Witch update, I can't be in the game for more than a minute before it crashes. Sometimes, completely locking up my PC, requiring a full restart.
Any thoughts? I have tried with a controller, without, updating my drivers, full virus scans, and updating windows, but nothing has helped.
Really frustrating and not sure how to proceed.
Please fellow vikings, Please send aid.

It sounds a little like what was happening to me.
After Bog Witch update my game started freezing about 25% of the time when it started the auto-save. Only thing that "fixed" it was just me remembering to manually save every 30 minutes or so before the auto-save could be triggered.
(That's right, it would only crash on auto-save and has never crashed on manual save. Despite this, when I reported this bug it was suggested that there was nothing wrong with the game and that my power supply had failed in such a way that it was only effecting Valhiem, and only in the new update, and only when it was auto-saving...)

Edit: sorry... I know this isn't the same as what's happening to you and is probably a useless reply. You don't have any video capture software running do you?

Normally I disregard these things as specific to circumstances which don't relate to me, but... Yeah game crashed for the very first time for me as well yesterday. Happened when I was trying to save. No harm no foul mind you, and probably unrelated, but thought I should mention it just in case.
