Error : Unity Log

Having the above error pop up when I try to start the game. I play with mods.

I found a discussion on here from March 2023. One person said they sorted this downloading a new version of Bepinex, but this hasn't worked for me.

All the other mods I use I have checked if they are up to date, which they seem to be, or I have updated to their newest version.

The DOS window that appears when you load the game, just spams the above error over and over. The game itself put the menu up when you hit start game, the window you get when you select server, choose passwords etc, but the window cannot be interacted with nor can you start game ignoring it.

Anyone had this issue recently?

i have this same error kind of, my game doesnt launch at all since i get a unity error right after clicking play. just installed again after maybe 2 years not playing and i cant get into the game at all even with a clean install with no mods. i never had crashing problems when i played the game before on the same pc

To perform a clean reinstallation, you have to manually clean up Valheim installation folder AFTER you uninstall the game.

To perform a clean reinstallation, you have to manually clean up Valheim installation folder AFTER you uninstall the game.

i did but i think i figured the problem, for some reason the game crashes if i have my dualsense connected. but if i launch without it the game is fine and i can connect my controller after it loads into the game.

Why would a controller, have an effect on a Unity Engine Error?

Do you have a non-Sony USB cable or a Scuf mod on that controller?

I have discovered a probably cause for mod users whom are experiencing this issue.

You probably get most of your mods off NexusMods.

I've learned this week that NexusMods isn't a reliable source for up to date versions of the mods and its recommended, you goto the Thunderstore site to acquire the better versions and up to date mods. You may have to look around though because some mods titles have changed or someone else has taken over a mod and there is something similar to what you had, but something might be different.
