Taming (wolf) BUGGED.
Kited a 1 star wolf to my enclosure, just barely outside the mountain area. Already placed 3 stacks of raw deer and boar meat. The whole night did nothing but attack the fence. During the day it stood around and did nothing. Even as I walked around the enclosure the wolf would run along the fence line avoiding me. Waited for night and again it did nothing but attack the fence. I swapped out the food and still nothing. Obviously a game issue. PLEASE FIX.

Wolf must not see you on any other enemy they might want to attack. Fence must no have gaps nor be too tight, or put the wolf into a larger hole.

I recommend a high stake wall instead of the fence or a deep hole. Another trick is use sneak mode to see if the wolf can see you. Go into sneak and walk away from your taming pen and keep an eye on your stealth meter. Once it shows that nothing can see you, you can sneak back slowly and see at what point the wolf detects you. Also be sure all nearby mobs are dead because he will aggro on those also.

to tame an animal, you must first allow it to calm down. Go away from the area, and when you return they should be calm enough to eat and tame if you're close enough, without being seen again. Yeah, wolves will break walls pretty easily, best to tame them in a hole dug with pickaxe, so they can't break out.

Trust me I tried alot of things, it was bugged. Unfortunately the wolf despawned when I loaded back in the next day. Needless to say I was pissed, but I did try the hole on a normal wolf and that worked.
