Unable to connect to server or Playfab

My friends are successfully playing together, but I cannot join the server. An error message opens on the game first launching and I have followed its advice to try and fix Playfab to no avail, and I cannot connect to the server my friends are playing on. I think these two things are probably related. Playing on Windows 7, two of my friends are on Xbox and the third probably on a later version of Windows.

Crossplay enabled on a server is required for Xbox users to be able to play. Crossplay works via PlayFab services which are not supported natively on Windows7. Microsoft stopped supporting Windows7 long time ago. You can try doing what this post suggests.
