Crash upon loading a world

So I recently re-installed Valheim to play again, and everything looks good on the menu. But when creating a new world I'll start it and then I'll be stuck on the loading screen. As soon as I click anywhere on it the game while crash shortly after. I don't have a single clue as to how to fix this.

Anyone mind helping?

I am having exactly the same issue. The programme will CTD on a NEW world creation attempt.( Specifically a NEW world Creation only)
No other actions are being attempted by the system just the game.

Unless you actually CTD you can just keep waiting even if it says not responding.

I was having the same issue my game would crash anytime i would load a world didn't matter the world or character selected i tried everything i could think of for 2 days and i was about to give up when i was looking through google and i found a fix that finally worked. i hope it works for you too if this is your issue as well. My issue is that when i load into a world my game would stops responding and crashe but if i hit CTRL+ULT+DELETE just as soon as you start loading into your game and i don't touch anything and within 10 to 20 seconds of just waiting my game loads in no problem and i have no other problems if the simple CTRL+ULT+DELETE doesn't do it the Reddit i found that gave me this fix had some other stuff like setting Valheim to high priority in task manager and i think a couple other things. I hope this helps

Crashing during load even when not pressing anything is not common. I wonder what was continuously interrupting the loading process for you. I would appreciate if you could find out which 3rd party app (e.g. Discord can start sending inputs or other overlay programs) or input device was causing this for you 8e.g. rogue controller with off centered deadzone), by closing as many of them or disconnecting as many of them during loading process.

Very sorry, but your first reply was correct.

This evening I tried again but went away and left the computer alone soon as I started the new world.
I returned 10 miniutes or so later to find it had loaded.
