Swimming in air after leaving non regular water levels
So my wife and I have encountered this glitch in three situations, after which the only solution is to shut down the server and reopen it:
-When swimming and then exiting a swamp crypt
-When touching water and then exiting a dungeon from the mistlands
-When touching some tar in the plains and then moving down hill

In all occasions, once the glitch is activated the game thinks we are swimming in either water or tar respectively, to the point where we are stuck high up in the air until we drown or restart the server. Any help would be appreciated!

I've heard few reports from other players as well. Btw. for points 1 and 2, how sure are you that in that same play session you didn't interact with the tar pit? Using any mods?
Also, when you say "swimming and then exiting a swamp crypt", do you mean swimming in the crypt itself of swimming in ocean/swamp outside of crypt?

Also, did you happen to have a cart nearby every time this happened?

I've also experienced this, but only when exiting a Mistlands mine. It happened on two different save files. Once solo and once while another person was on the server (but not in the same crypt or same biome for that matter). Neither time was there a cart nearby. I'd really like some kind of solution.

Are you playing with mods?

I am. Not sure which one(s) would be causing it.

Have any mods that make items float?

I don't. One time I experienced it, another player was on the server. I teleported to them and was no longer swimming.

Not sure then which mods would be causing it unfortunately. Post you mod list. Maybe someone else comes along and posts theirs so we figure it out.
