Troll Caves all empty

After the update, I created a new map and character and every troll cave I enter is empty. Trolls still spawn outside the caves and randomly in the Black Forrest, but I have entered 4 troll caves now and none have had trolls. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

not unusual for a cave to sometimes be empty. if you come back to it later, it may have one. once you kill the troll in the cave, my understanding is that the troll won't spawn outside that cave anymore.

Is this new? I have never encountered an empty troll cave before, but now it's 4 in a row. I haven't cleared any of them.

nothing new. i've seen empty caves more often than not. swing back by them later and see if they have a troll in them.

Yep, some are spawning now. Restarted the game today and went back into a cave and a troll spawned.
