Still hitting the max 60fps, base still small and no tames helps, but i did mass terrain changes now.
The 2-3 second freezes every 10min have been there since Day 1 already though.
What process was changed with Mistlands that runs every 10 minutes? Respawns? Is the entire server getting updated every 10mins where before just the tiny part of the map you have rendered/loaded?
Of course I'm just speculating here. I think that a garbage collection schedule should run in its own worker thread so as to not hinder gameplay but that might not be viable as the list of unused variables might be changing all the time, requiring the game to pause while the garbage collector runs.
I wonder why they're not running this as part of world save, which already lags anyway and comes with a warning?
