Lost all gear

A wraith got me and I re-spawned at my last point! As I was on my way back to get my gear the game disconnected me. So I re-started Valheim again and headed to retrieve my gear, upon arrival my death stone is no where to be found. It shows it on the map but is literally not there. I just spent like two weeks getting iron and root to craft an iron sword and root armor plus alot of other stuff. The area I died in has been reset like I was never there. WTF!!!
So I'm supposed to just accept the fact that this is how Valheim works and be ok with it. Actual human weeks of work to craft this gear to lose it to some kinda glitch.

Did you check to see if you had character file backups?

Ouch, I feel your pain. Have lost some gear/progress due to crashes but nothing as major as that.
I feel that in these situations it is not cheating to use console commands! IMO the game _should_ make a save of world and character upon death but some people that have alt+F4 ragequitted after dying have proven that this is not currently so. So go ahead and summon the required materials or even straight up items, if you have "completed" the corpse run.

-2star draugr archer spawns INSIDE scrap pile and kills me instantly. Cannot get my gear without dying a hundred times because while he can hit me, I can't hit him until I pickaxe him out.

I have no shame when bugs, "impossible" situations, or things that are "unfair" put me in the position where "cheating" is the answer. Typically, I will use "ghost" mode to go recover gear. Occasionally I've had to "fly" to get to my stuff. Or use "no cost" to rebuild something lost.

In your situation, I would totally remake everything I lost using the "no cost" option.

so you found your corpse stone but it had nothing in it? that seems like a bug

Apparently I have no Character file backups and World saves are virtually useless without backups I'm guessing.

This is how you learn to make backups, frequently, especially before you do something risky like ride in a boat, attack a swamp triple-spawner, fight a wraith, etc.

Backups are not cheating when the game has significant issues like this.
