Map pins no longer shared with cartography table?

Prior to the Mistlands update, my friends and I noticed that using the cartography table shared both explored areas of the map, as well as the map markers we all added to the map.

The areas and the markers that were shared from the cartography table were a little greyer (word? LOL) than your own personal explored areas and markers. It was an excellent mechanic that we had gotten very used to.

Since the Mistlands update, seems the cartography table no longer shares the map markers. We're still getting one another's explored areas, still a little greyer than your own explored areas, but are no longer getting one another's map markers.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Is this an update to the previous way things worked, or a bug?

Well, okay, so after a few more days of recording and reading from the cartography table, all of our map markers have begun showing up on each other's maps. No idea what how or why... We didn't do anything different, didn't destroy and rebuild the cartography table or anything. But as of yesterday evening's play session, we've got the unshaded map sections as well as the map markers each of us have uncovered and created.

Chalk it up to "early access" I guess... :)

We have noticed this as well.....so far from what I can tell, the "Record Discoveries" might at actually do seperate things on seperate clicks? and also it seems like there is a "Read map" click per player?

For example, first click = map exploration, second click = map pins

I have been asking my guys to spam the crap out of of the table toolbox and then click the table until it says "nothing new to copy"

This has seem to work better for us.....we took a long break from the game, so I am not sure if this behavior just started with Mistlands update because I dont remember this on our last playthrough

We figured it out.....The "box" only holds the marker of the last person that clicks it

So as long as you click the table first and then the box, you are good to go.

try /writepindata, not sure if it was mods. but this worked for me :)
