How do we fix VPN issue?

I need help with how to bypass my viritual VPN which is software on the computer. I cannot join games since I lagg out of the game. I do not want to deactivate my VPN just for Valheim and all other games works perfectly. So what is the issue with Valheim in this matter?

Can't seem to find any help online so I will go here to find the solution.

I did email them and I got this reply:
" It depends on who you are playing with actually. If you are playing with anyone using the Microsoft store version, or if yourself is, VPN does not work. Are you however playing with the steam version you can turn of the cross play function and then Valheim is fully functional with VPN."

I can now play Valheim with VPN, and I play on a dedicated server =)
