Valhiem crashing, black screen - computer is still running

I have had this problem for 4 days now, and I have finally fixed it

When playing Valheim (and also V Rising) the computer would crash, the screen would go black and the fans would spin 100% - I tried everything, rebooting, underclocking, reinstalling windows, drivers, you name it...

When as a last resort I tried changing the DVI cable for an HDMI (as I read somewhere that might help) I noticed that the wire going into one of the PCIE power ins on my RTX 2070 Super was loose, Unreal games would run no problems, most things worked.

I re-seated the graphics card before but never noticed the loose connection, SO if you are having this problem it's almost certainly a power issue

If your connections are fine I would highly recommend trying a different PSU and see if that fixes your problem!

If this helps anyone have at least half the hassle I did, then that's all good

To add on to this, I read that this issue is what is melting some 4090s. When something electrical goes wrong in your pc there could be further damage, so might want to look over all your components my friend.

Everything else is good, I noticed soonly enough - I have spent all weekend updating bios and drivers and running memtests and all sorts! everything else is fine
