No BepInEx, no mods, I'm afraid. Not sure if there is a Linux version available.
r2modman (if it's anything like ThunderStore, the mod manager I prefer on Windows) should resolve those dependencies automatically, but it looks like it doesn't.
So you need to read the mods page on Nexus on what exactly the mod depends and what you need to install.
Warning! Modding is done at your own risk. IronGate is currently not supporting mods, so when a patch or update to Valheim gets deployed, your mods are most likely going to break, crashing your game!
Pretty much 99% of all bug reports posted on the forums here are either about broken mods or broken world saves.
Well, mostly it's BepInEx and Jotuun (another meta mod) that break and need to be updated, which usually happens fairly quickly within a few days or so.
Still, be cautious and learn how mods work and what they do.
Edit: I just checked and BepInEx is indeed available for both MacOS and Linux!
Edit2: I would highly suggest reading the wiki for BepInEx as it explains in detail what you need to do if you don't use a BepInEx aware mod manager (Not sure if r2modman is).
Edit: Found that on the mod's page:
Also, this mod is a work in progress and might not even have that many hires textures from what I can tell!
If you really want to go for this, I would try the "Willybach HD Valheim" mod instead, that requires the "CustomTextures" mod from Aedenthorn to function.
I'm currently running this, which is also very good: https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/1930
https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/350?tab=files
Also I see on these screenshots that the author made some changes from the old one which make it more like the original textures in terms of colors :O Very nice!
